The Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation Concluded 2025 with the Khachaturian International Festival

The Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation concluded 2025 with the Khachaturian International Festival, offering classical music lovers a major celebration of music. In line with its mission, the Festival brought together renowned musicians in Yerevan, including cellist Emmanuel Graf, pianists Denis Kozhukhin and Antonio Di Cristofano, violinist and international competition laureate Hayk Kazazyan, and others. The concerts were conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, Gianluca Marcianò, Vahagn Papyan, and Bojan Suđić.

The Festival was founded in 2013 by Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, to mark the 110th anniversary of the great composer.

Sergey Smbatyan emphasizes the importance of support for the development of classical music, particularly for the Khachaturian International Festival. In his view, Freedom Broker Armenia’s involvement in the Festival makes it possible to broaden its vision and create greater opportunities to promote the legacy of the great composer around the world.

The Festival was held with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, while the Yerevan Municipality served as the Festival’s main partner.
